Mental Health Care
Manor park provides care and support for people with mental health. Our care team provide person-centred care to each individual needs. We focus on our core values of care, providing privacy, dignity, rights, independence, choice and fulfilment to each individual. We worked together with other professionals to arrange medical appointments and reviews. Each individual is allowed to show forth their uniqueness, abilities and interests and our care team are always there to support them to fulfilment.
Respite Care
Manor Park provides care for short and long term stays. Being a carer is heavy weight to bare and sometimes you need a day of rest or a little down time. Respite care allows you to take a break from the day-to-day responsibilities of caring, safe in the knowledge that your loved ones are still getting the care that they need.
Monitoring Visits
Each individual has a in depth personal centred care plan, which is reviewed monthly or when changes occur. Staff complete close observation as per care plan and individual needs. Two hourly health checks are completed overnight. Individual requiring additional check as per need and care plan. Checks completed from half hourly to two hourly. Clear records are kept of all checks completed.
Dementia Care
Manor Park Care Home follows the principles of person-centred care, this approach aims to see the person with dementia as an individual rather than focusing on their illness or abilities they may have lost. Person-centred care considers each individuals unique qualities, abilities, interests, preferences, needs and choices.

BBQ – Manor Park Care home likes to take advantage of the good weather, so a BBQ with our residents is a good way to make the most of it.
Cinema – Manor Park Care Home will be hosting our very own cinema night with our residents. Who doesn’t love a good movie.
Takeaway & Bingo – Everyone loves a game of bingo and our residents are no different so we host bingo nights often and order a takeaway too.
Every Year we like to take our residents on a trip to see the Blackpool Illuminations, grab some fish and chips and have some fun whilst we are there.
